Our NRP1 Expression Lentivector is based on our robust pCDH-CMV-MCS-EF1α-Neo Cloning and Expression Lentivector (Cat.# CD514B-1), and delivers NRP1 expression from the CMV promoter, with a separate EF1α promoter driving the expression of the neomycin resistance gene for selection.
NRP1 is a host factor for SARS-CoV-2 infection that enhances ACE2-mediated cell entry [1, 2], and the NRP1 Expression Lentivector gives you the ability to express NRP1 in the cell line of your choice. Safely study SARS-CoV-2 infection, discover inhibitors, and more.

Figure 1. pCDH-CMV-NRP1-EF1α-Neo delivers robust NRP1 expression in HEK293 cells. We transduced the NRP1 Expression Lentivector (pCDH-CMV-NRP1-EF1α-Neo) into HEK293 cells, extracted total protein, and analyzed NRP1 expression via western blot. The parental HEK293 cells (negative control lane) display no NRP1 expression whereas HEK293 cells transduced with the NRP1 Expression Lentivector demonstrate robust NRP1 expression. The positive control of HEK293 cells transfected with the NRP1 Expression Lentivector also displays robust expression.
